ComponentOne XLS for .NET (blackening of rows for abhilashnair [India] 28-Jan-2005 06:08:11

I was evaluating this control. It works fine for me most of the time. But on some occasions, when I save the file using this component, some of the rows are blackened (‘backcolor’ becomes Black automatically).
I tested this problem in so many ways. It happens only to few rows, which has, I think different cell properties (styles) than other rows. But I am not very sure about what are those properties.
I repeated this testing by simply saving the file without doing any modification. i.e., I loaded the file and then saved it again. Again the result was same.
After this I copied the styles of the rows that are not blackened, to those that has the problem. Now the blackening doesn’t happen. So this states that, only with some unknown styles this problem happens.

If somebody had already experienced the problem, then please let me know how to tackle this issue.

Hello Abhilash,

There was a fix over the past year or so released to fix similar style issues. Updating your control should fix it. You can grab the latest bits from prerelease.componentone.com, but if your subscription is not current the latest would behave as an evaluation. There are links to older builds on the site also, so try upgrading to the latest build that you are entitled to anyway.
