i have a problem with spy-server with type mime which permit to open file. I only can open HTML file, i can't for the other mime type like PDF, EXCEL etc..
If some have had this problem, i hope to have a response.

Spy-Server has two parts - the indexing tool (Spy-CD-Wizard or Spyndex), and the runtime. Which part is causing the problem?

Spy-CD-Wizard is a Windows tool to index a web site to build a search database. To index PDF files you need a Temporary or full licence (email sales@phdcc.com for a Temporary licence). To index MS Office documents, the relevant application must be installed on the computer.

The Spyndex Java application currently only indexes HTML and TXT files. This functionality will be included in version 5 of Spy-Server, letting you schedule regular re-indexes of your site. (This next version will be available for free to all licence holders for one year from purchase.)

The Spy-Server runtime produces a search engine results page with standard page links to the file. For PDF and MS Office document types, clicking on hit link will bring up the appropriate browser to display the file.
