FusionCharts Bundled Packs by InfoSoft Global

Animated Flash charts, Flash maps, rich Internet charts and a collection of gauges and instrumentation controls. FusionCharts Bundle Packs combine 4 products; FusionCharts, PowerCharts, PowerMaps and FusionGadgets to provide developers with a collection of Flash components for creating highly visual Web applications based on the Adobe Flash Platform. Developers can build cross-browser and cross-platform solutions which blend content, application logic and communications delivering an effective end user experience.

FusionCharts Bundle Packs contain the following products:

FusionCharts v3

FusionCharts v3 is a Flash charting component for ASP and ASP.NET applications. Offering over 45 chart types, including the interactive pie/doughnut charts and advanced scroll charts, FusionCharts can be effectively used to render data-driven & animated charts for your applications. It seamlessly integrates with your ASP and ASP.NET applications and provides advanced options like AJAX integration, end user interactivity, client side dynamic charts etc.

PowerCharts v3

PowerCharts suite consists of advanced charting components that allow you to plot visually arresting and highly interactive charts – the Web 2.0 way. It allows you to plot charts that you cannot normally think of within the traditional boundaries of web. Some of the charts in PowerCharts include selectable data-set chart, drag-node charts, simulation and what-if analysis charts, logarithmic and inverse axis charts etc. Like FusionCharts, PowerCharts also offers advanced options like AJAX integration, end user interactivity, client side dynamic charts etc.

FusionMaps v3

FusionMaps allows you to plot data-driven and interactive Flash Maps, for use with ASP and ASP.NET applications. It can be used to show geographical data distributed by category like election results, survey results or business data like "Revenue by Regions" or "Revenue by states". It currently covers over 180 maps, including USA, US counties, all continents, all European countries and other major countries of the world. Like FusionCharts, FusionMaps also offers advanced options like AJAX integration, end user interactivity, client side dynamic maps etc.

FusionWidgets V3

Real-time Financial and Dashboard Charts for the Web. FusionWidgets v3 (previously FusionGadgets & FusionCharts Instrumentation Suite) is a collection of real-time gauges, self-updating charts and financial charts like Gantt charts, funnel/pyramid charts, bullet graphs, sparklines etc. It is perfectly suited for use in dynamic web applications, executive dashboards and real-time monitors. Made in Adobe Flash 8, FusionWidgets can be used with any Web scripting language like HTML, ASP.NET, ASP, JSP, PHP, ColdFusion etc., as it uses XML data interface. You do not need to know anything about Flash to use FusionWidgets.

No installation hassles

To use FusionCharts, you do not have to install anything on your server. All you need to do is copy paste the SWF files (the core files of FusionCharts) to your server, just like you would do to any image files - and you're ready to go! So, even on those servers which do not allow installation of ActiveX or any other form of components, FusionCharts can run without any hassles.

Easy to use

FusionCharts makes the chart creation process a painless experience for you. Since it uses XML as its data interface, all you need to do is convert your data into XML using a programming language or using the visual GUI provided in FusionCharts - and that's all what is required to create interactive and animated charts.

Extensive Documentation and lots of code samples

FusionCharts has an extensive documentation spanning each of the feature offered by it. With code samples and demo applications in various programming languages, it won’t take you much time to grasp the concepts and get running with FusionCharts.

Runs on a variety of platforms

Irrespective of what server side scripting language you're using, FusionCharts can be used to create charts in that. Since FusionCharts uses XML as the data interface, you can run it on any server and against any scripting language. Also, to view the charts, your users just need to have Adobe Flash Player 8, which is one of the most used browser plugins on the planet.

Reduces load on your servers

In traditional image based charting systems, the charts are generated as image at the server side. So, for each chart that you need to serve to a user, you'll have to build complex images on the server and then stream it to the client. When the need of hour is high, this can be an expensive resource on the server, as image creation takes a lot of toll on the server.

FusionCharts brings you great relief - all the charts are rendered at client side using the widely installed Adobe Flash Platform. The server is just responsible for streaming the pre-built SWF files and your XML data files to the end viewers. From there on, Flash Player takes the onus of rendering the charts. Also, the chart SWF Files can be cached so that you can just update the data, and not send chart SWF files every time.

FusionCharts offers you a plethora of chart types. From the basic bar, column, line, pie etc. to the advanced combination and scroll charts, you can build all the charts with the same ease of use.

Easy AJAX/JavaScript integration

FusionCharts offers advanced options to integrate charts with AJAX applications or JavaScript modules. You can update charts on client side, invoke JavaScript functions as hotspot links, or make dynamic calls for XML data to server without involving any page refreshes.

Open-source product

FusionCharts is an open-source commercial product. You can modify or change the source code whenever and however you wish. Moreover, you can use FusionCharts’ framework to create new types of charts for your own applications.
