Graphics Mill Standard edition doesn't include x64 platform support, PDF file format support or the PSD processing tool.
OVERVIEW
Graphics Mill is an image processing component developed for the .NET platform. Graphics Mill is available in two editions Pro and Standard: Graphics Mill application domain includes solutions that heavily rely on complex imaging. Graphics Mill Pro edition features x64 platforms support and multi-core/multi-CPU optimization. This ensures that the potential of your hardware is fully revealed when delivering performance-taxing and time-critical imaging tasks.

Structurally, Graphics Mill Pro comprises four parts:
Core Library
This is where the imaging capabilities of Graphics Mill Pro lie. Core library implements x64 and multi-core and multi-CPU support, format and metadata handling, color space conversion, transforms, effects and filters application, tone and brightness correction, on-the-fly thumbnailing and many other tasks provided by the imaging SDK.
AJAX for ASP.NET Controls
These controls leverage the core functionality of the imaging SDK in web applications. Featuring no-postback data retrieval and background loading, these controls ensure smooth online image editing experience even over slow connections.
Windows Forms Controls
These enable end user to pan, crop, zoom, select regions, resize images, manipulate layers with raster and vector objects, generate thumbnail lists and perform other imaging operations in desktop applications. WinForms controls have been designed with memory-friendliness in mind. This is vital for pre-press industry and print-preparation solutions, even given the fact that the Pro edition provides x64 support. These controls leverage the core functionality of the imaging SDK in web applications. AVI Processor Add-on- enhances Graphics Mill functionality with AVI format support. It enables to read/write AVI files, work with audio tracks, put watermarks onto it, add transition effects, etc.
Media Processor Add-on - allows to generate thumbnails from different kinds of video files and extract different meta-information from them
Advanced PSD Add-on- improves PSD format support. It allows to read separate layers from PSD file, get raster layers and text layers (string, font, etc). These layers can be merged with Graphics Mill
Red-Eye Removal Add-on- features red-eye effect removal functionality. It implements unique semiautomatic and manual modes

All Graphics Mill assemblies are rebuilt for .NET Framework 2.0. .NET 1.1 is not supported any more
Graphics Mill can render formatted text. The text can be marked up with special XML-like syntax. It allows for rendering portions of multiline text with different justification, font and color settings. This feature will provide the customers who develop pre-print solutions with flexible text-rendering tool.
Graphics Mill supports multi-core calculations for resize and interpolation algorithms. It analyzes the platform during start-up of application and does calculations in the most effective way.
Extra channels can be extracted and saved to TIFF image format.
Graphics Mill Pro supports Adobe color management engine. This feature is important for those customers who care about quality of color management in their software.
Red-Eye Removal tool was moved to the Aurigma.GraphicsMill.dll assembly.

New Media Processor Add-on : It allows to read video files of different formats and extract thumbnails of specific video frames. Also, it allows to get metadata for video and audio files (title, artist name, length, etc).

Multiple images can be loaded into the control

Vector object appearance (color, fill) can be modified in run-time
Extensible architecture - you can create any custom objects you can imagine
All objects (both images and vector objects) can be moved, resized, rotated, skewed. Resize can be proportional or arbitrary. Certain operations can be disabled (e.g. you can allow to move and resize, but disallow to rotate, etc).
Multiple layers can be added to the control. Each layer can hold multple objects
Layers can be easily hidden, swapped or removed
All objects on the control can be easily merged into a bitmap
The content of the control can be serialized and deserialized (i.e. saved to a file, and then restored)
