The API is wonderfully easy to program against, the interface is brilliant.

Unfortunately, this control doesn't work for beans with my Fujitsu fi-4750C. None of the event-driven scanning works at all (component reports a successful scan with no errors, scanner silently does nothing) and the control will not allow me to scan single pages repeatedly through my ADF. It will scan the first page, then refuse to scan any subsequent pages. Also, when scanning single pages, the component does not allow clicking "Cancel" on the driver's default scan dialog, which was just strange.

All told, if the author would test this thing a little more thoroughly, it would be a very good bit of code. I give it two stars for outstanding potential.
