I am downloaded InstallShield Express to evaluate the product ...

But, I cant create a license to tst Trialware licenses ...

I create my account in Install Shield Activation Services ... (create Products, Versions - basead y install shield product), but can i "Acqurire the licenses", show the message ... Failed to contact tle License Server ...

How can I create this license ???

I need to check if .net 2 runtime, sql server express and crystal reports runtime are installed then if not install them. I cant see how you do this am i missing something really obvious?

I have an install shield express project added to my solution in visual studio 2005 and under redistrubutables i cant see how i add the install files for these components. I also tried to add a custom action and when the individual setup files run they say a setup is already in progress then fail.

I am using the trial verision to see if install shield is going to improve the installation of our product so any response would be great.

Attempting to install evaluation copy of Express 11 on a win 2k machine. However, installation halts at choosing "Typical, Minimal & Custom" dialog. When the Next button is clicked, the installation justs hangs at this dialog. I removed a previous version of Express, which was version 4.1.

any help is appreciated

hi
i am using windows 98, vb6 and crystal reports 6 for development
i am using install shield express v2 for setup.

after installation every thing works fine except, those reports which are embded in Exe do not run
they produce following error message

' physical database not found'

furthermore, i am usign odbc for connectivity

help me in this regard
