Janus Web GridEX for .NET Dropdowns pmcewan [FL, USA] 19-Jul-2012 15:17:30

I just downloaded the trial of the Janus Web GridEx for .NET to use for a new project with Visual Studio 2010. Everything is working great, but I cannot get column dropdowns to work. First, when I try to add a dropdown through the GUI, it doesn't work. If I press the Add button, it doesn't create a new dropdown. So, I manually added one in the ASPX form, and it displays in the GUI. However, no matter how I populate the data in the dropdown, it won't display the dropdown in the column. If I look at the samples in VS 2008, they work correctly. Is there a problem with VS 2010, or do I need to change what I'm doing? How can I debug this? Thanks

Hello,

i am trying to do my checkbox readonly but when i set:

this.GridEXUsers.RootTable.Columns["Locked"].EditType = Janus.Web.GridEX.EditType.NoEdit;

than it is not checkbox. How can i have checkbox which is readonly.

I have an old licensed version of Janus web Controls 1.5.1023.0 .
I insalled it with the reqiured pathces on a new 64 bit windows 2008 server.

I am tryng to use it inside an asp.net 4.0 web project. The project compilrs fine.

When accessing a page with a janus control i keep getting an error :

Is it possible to drag a row from the GridEX and start a drag/drop operation.
(ie. click and hold down the LMB and drag the selection onto another control)
