I have migrated my application from vb.net 2003 to vb.net 2005. Now everytime I call the method .PreloadCodecs(5, 5, "TIF") I get the folliwng error:

System.Exception was unhandled by user code
Message="System.Threading.SynchronizationLockException: Object synchronization method was called from an unsynchronized block of code.\r\n at Leadtools.Kernel.Codecs.KernelCodecs.L_PreLoadFilters(Int32 nFixedFilters, Int32 nCachedFilters, String pszFilters)\r\n at Leadtools.Codecs.RasterCodecs.PreloadCodecs(Int32 fixedCodecs, Int32 cachedCodecs, String codecs)\r\n

can anyone explain how to resolve this issue?

Hi,

I'm evaluating LEADTOOLS and I wanted to know if I could get the X, Y coordinates of a word in an image on the screen (assuming the word is there). Is there a function in C# that allows this?

Saving Multi-page scanned documents as a PDF Kannappan 24-Aug-2005 22:18:18

Hi,
I do not have a lot of experience with the LeadTools library. I need to use the Twain functions in the Leadtools library to scan documents through an automatic document scanner and save it as a PDF. Currently I can scan documents from a regular scanner, but not save them as a PDF. Please do advise or please refer me to something that can help me in this regard.

Hello technical support,

We are having great difficulty with Leadtools and Kodak scanner compatibility.
This is the NYS Office of the State Comptroller. We use the Leadtools product in conjunction with our Imaging system. We recently purchased the Kodak 3500D and 1500D
scanners.

The problem is that Leadtools does not agree with the driver that runs the Kodak scanners.
Have any of you encountered such a problem and how do we resolve the issue to ensure the Kodak scanners (expensive) work with Leadtools? Please discuss as soon as possible,

Purpose of this leadtools method:
Scans multiple pages into a multipage file

Error#
-2147417848

Error Message
Automation error. The object invoked has disconnected its from its clients.

The Kodak Scanner driver (EKDS3500.PXN) may have something to do with it.

I have downloaded Doc Imaging and barcode module. Trouble is that suite is v13 and barcode module is v12 and refuses to install - anybody have any ideas?

Tried barcode demos and they fall over on both XP and W2k with -1 error. Am I missing something????
