Finally something new in the charting components! Arction doesn’t have review writing possibility in their site, so I gladly share my comments here. We have manufactured DAQ devices and software for almost 20 years and never had as much data on screen as now with LightingChart Pro. Arction really knows how to squeeze power out of the computer. It seems there’s no reason to keep struggling with our own, outdated visualization library anymore… When feeding data from our twin card configuration into graph, it just keeps going on amazingly well, keeping the curves scrolling nice. No point reducing/down-sampling tricks are used since all the data is actually there in the chart. Many chart manufacturers are saying that they have good RT performance or are fastest rendering, but they don’t know what they are talking about... They should take a couple of lessons from Finnish guys.

LightningChart docs and help files are sufficient for experienced programmers, who have programmed some charting app before. Newbies may have a bit of a hard time to get started, since the demo application starts with quite a demanding example. It may not be clear to press Stop button to stop RT signal generator and to get into review state to zoom and use data cursors. And you have to dig the actual info from the demo project source code. Technical support gives good code samples within couple of hours. They actually code the samples for us while waiting, even if it’s late night there. They’ve got the right attitude. Very promising product and company overall.

Summarized, it’s a professional product… for professionals.
