We are the market leader in Timetabling solutions. We needed a control for one of our projects to enable the displaying of many activities on the screen in a variety of ways.

The control had to be able to cope with vertical and horizontal orientation, be able to display a week view (days on one axis, hours on the other), and a resource view (days/times on one axis, resources on the other). The control also needed to allow custom displaying and editing of activities, together with functionality to allow the user to move/resize the items.

There are many controls on the market that get close to this by immitating the functionality found in Outlook, but they all fell far short of the flexability, power and customisation that we needed.

Planner.NET was the exception. This is the only control that supports both vertical (Outlook) and horizontal timetable views. It also supports a very powerful resource view (similar to Microsoft Project or Journal), but with the capability of filtering out times and days from the view. In addition, it provides the ability to customise the viewing and editing of items. The API is incredibly detailed, and the list of customisations is endless.

The people at Mind-Fusion responded quickly to my questions and were able to build in additional enhancements very quickly. No more waiting for months to see improvements!

Overall, this is an exceptionally powerful control fully supported by a thoroughly customer-focused company that clearly have a very skilled development team to back them up!
