My first approch was to use the standard WiX open source to build the setup package. I spend about a week trying to build the XML for WiX. I realised that it would take a lot of time to finish the WiX installation package so I began looking for a install tool. I tryed both Inno Setup, Installshield and InstallAware but finally I found MSI Factory. It took about a day to finish the installation package with MSI Factory and I am very pleased the software.

I use it for installing a .NET solution with SQL Server database and IIS setup.

I strongly recommend it for building your Installation package.
