An excellent XML editor that understands XML schema's and the editor suggests appropriate elements and attributes while preparing XML documents.
We use it to prepare DITA documents for publication. The "Author" view of the editor shows us output very similar to the real PDF output. The xml view of the editor help in setting correct DITA meta-data.
The open nature of the product allowed us to add a custom stylesheet that extracts only those images from the DITA document that need to go into a slide presentation. This allows for truly single-source document preparation. The product features excellent XSL, XPATH and DITA development features, version control and much more!
The flexibility of this product is really amazing!
Boy-oh-boy what have we been struggling with other document preparation software before we learned about this excellent tool!
