Convert PDFs to major industry image, print and Web formats. pdf2text Pro SDK enables developers to extract text from PDF files in several formats. It can be stripped, saved with placement or abstracted. Conversion options can be set to optimize placement, select amount of text to extract and adjust baselines. pdf2text Pro SDK is ideal for pulling text to index files for search applications, to populate databases or edit in MS Excel and other desktop applications. It can be embedded in an application or used as part of an automated server application. pdf2text Pro SDK requires just two calls plus the creation of a conversion profile (.ini). Available as a DLL for Windows.

pdf2text Pro SDK is based on the robust FLY SDK engine. It accepts PDF input and can output to ASCII text. The Pro SDK includes either 50 end-user runtimes or 3 limited production server licenses (limted to 10,000 conversions per year). The Pro+ SDK includes 250 end-user runtimes or 5 limited production server licenses (limted to 10,000 conversions per year). Options in the PDF Pro SDK Series include:
