Resco PhotoAssistant ESP is a prototype of a complete mobile solution for photo documentation. Designed specifically for this purpose, it offers modern functionality, ease of use and is ready to be deployed in the field. It is perfectly suited for all field workers collecting data that can be enhanced by or completely replaced by photos. All in all, the solution consists of three parts: Mobile Client, Web Client and Web Service Data Synchronization

Modern UI
The Mobile Client lets you take photographs using the mobile device’s built-in camera and assign a text or a voice note to each of them. The mobile application sets new UI trends in current mobile technology. The graphics are very eye-pleasing. There is no need to use a stylus, everything can be controlled by a finger. User comfort is enhanced by a seamlessly embedded keyboard that perfectly fits the screen. Resco developers took the hardware limitations of mobile devices into consideration. The mobile client thus offers numerous performance optimizations.

Web Client running in a web browser
The Web Client is accessible through any Internet browser. It provides easy access to photo projects created using the Mobile Client.

Back-Office Integration
The mobile application uses MS SQL Server Compact Edition as well as the file system to store image and audio data. Back-office integration is implemented by the Web Service, which:

• synchronizes the local database against a remote SQL Server (by default)
• synchronizes image and audio files
• is provided with C# Source Code
• can be modified to support other 3rd party server database/ERP system synchronization

Customization
This solution is provided as a Microsoft Visual Studio project, so it is fully customizable and can be branded to meet the customer’s needs. The entire solution is provided with well documented C# Source Code and includes programming reference.
