After updating "Security Update Microsoft Net Framework 2,0", leaves message "ReSize.Net - License Failire".

There is some solution to solve this problem, or is necessary to uninstall this update.

Thanks for the aid that can render to me.

ReSize OCX/.NET "Resize.NET - License failure" sebastian [Spain] 16-Jul-2007 17:19:28

Coding in C# Visual Studio 2005: after installing ReSize.Net the OnPaint event handler is no longer called whenever the Form window gets redrawn by Windows. This is a major problem for my application - how do I now capture the form paint event?

Help would be appreciated,

We are working on forms with multiple inheritance. We have one form that inherits from a form of type usercontrol. If I place the resize control on the inherited form, I get a "Resize.NET - License failure" error. I then tried to put this control in the base form but still received the same error. I dont see this error if the base form inherits from system.windows.forms.form as opposed to system.windows.forms.usercontrol. Please let me if and/or how this can be solved. Thanks.

ReSize OCX/.NET sales [United Kingdom] 31-Oct-2003 22:58:51

I have purchased the Resize component and have not yet implemented/tested it with my vb.net application. I have had a quick look at it in an MSaccess2000 container. It did not seem to resize when the screen resolution settigs changed. Is it inteded to resize for this or simply when the user maximises/minimises?

Thanks

ReSize OCX/.NET info [Canada] 28-Jul-2003 13:45:28

I purchased a ReSize license in April for a project I was working on, and was very pleased with its performance. Recently, I made some changes to the project, and rebuilt it into an installer. The software installs properly, but forms using the ReSize control give the error, "Resize .NET - License Failure". Are the licenses time limited and I didn't realize it, or have I done something wrong? I did change the name of the primary output file, but wouldn't have expected this to invalidate my license. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Guys,

hope I have the answer.

Did this one on of my employees m/c's.

If you have the licence key. Uninstall Resize and then reinstall it again. Clsoed down Vb.net and open up, it should resolve.

Hope I've been of help.

This is a great little component it works great. The only problem I have is, whenever the form is maximized, all fonts on the form change to BOLD. Is there a workaround to this? Thank you.

Hello Rick,

I contacted Larcom & Young about this, and they told me the following:

This is not a known bug in the ReSize product. In a few cases we have seen
this behavior from MS Windows. For best results he should use a true type
font such as Arial. It might also be possible to reset the font bold
attribute (to false) in the form resize event. It might also be the case
that Windows is substituting fonts for a certain font size and although the
font looks bold its bold attribute is really false.

Please give the above suggestions a try. If this doesn't solve the problem, let me know, and I will ask for an alternative solution.

Best regards,

Jason Williamson
