I have some confusion with the license agreement. If we build an application that uses the VDF and distribute it, we will need to distribute the merge module that contains the libraries for it to run. Do we need to have licenses for each end user of the libraries that we distribute our application to? Or is the license for the developer to use the provided APIs along with a royalty free distribution right for the runtime dlls? Wouldn't the distributed dlls be part of the tool and the following section says they cannot be copied which is what is needed for distribution.

1.2.1. the Client acknowledges and agrees that shall not, nor shall allow or suffer anyone else to: copy, record, reproduce, download on to its own equipment or that of any third party, enter into any internal database or system whatsoever or store in a retrieval system or transmit by any means (whether electronic, mechanical or otherwise) in any form, or in any other manner whatsoever, the whole or any part of the Tool ,or

Yes, there are many of our clients who used it in web applications. All of our products (Professional, Standard and Viewer-Net) can be used. The last one is specially designed for it (IE 5.0 and above). If you want more details please mail me Support@vdraw.com
