Is it possible using Mercury QTP to read, edit and navigate in an Xceed grid.

If so how? (Using standard object recognition with .NET and WPF plugin in QTP is not eenough)

I am having trouble getting my grid to fire the DoubleClick event when a row is double clicked on. I have tried subscribing to the DoubleClick event of the actual grid control, of the DataRowTemplate, and of each DataRow that I add to the grid but none of them fire when a row is double clicked.

The only time I ever see a DoubleClick event being fired is when I double click on a section of the grid control which has no columns/rows - which only occurs when I subscribe to the actual control's DoubleClick event (which makes sense).

If I subscribe to other events such as IsSelectedChanged the events fire when expected (if I subscribe to each row I add, or the DataRowTemplate).

Can anyone see where I am going wrong? Or is this a known problem with the grid control? The version I am using is Xceed Grid for .NET v2.0 Build 2.0.102.0.

Does the Xceed grid do column merging similar to the Hierarchical flexigrid in VB6?

column merging are not supported in the current version. (2.0)
