Web-to-Host Terminal Emulation for accessing AS/400, IBM Mainframe and UNIX hosts. z/Scope Web-to-Host is Cybele Software's Terminal Emulation for accessing AS/400, IBM Mainframes and UNIX hosts from standard Web browsers. It can be run under Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox/Netscape Web browsers, on Windows ME/NT/2K/XP/Vista platforms.

Easy to use and cost effective emulation. Stand-Alone / Browser-based - Secure - Multi-Session.z/Scope Terminal Emulator runs on Windows clients and Servers, z/Scope acts as middleware between legacy systems and browser users. It lets you reuse the S/390, AS/400 and UNIX server environments in your Windows applications.

Emulation Support

z/Scope Web-to-Host supports TN3270E, TN5250E and VT52-VT100-VT220-VT420-ANSI protocols. It optionally includes an FTP Client with full awareness of AS/400 objects and z/OS datasets, integrated into its tabbed interface.

Fully Integrated Printer Sessions; Support for IBM 3812/3287. Printer management capabilities integrated into z/Scope allows users to route print jobs to any local or network printer and allow local desktop printers to act as additional network print resources.

Security

z/Scope Web-to-Host offers an unique web-to-host solution that supports built in security. z/Scope provides connectivity to SSL/TLS enabled legacy hosts. It uses the Internet standard SSL 2/3, TLS 1 and SSH1/2 security protocols for data encryption to ensure that all z/Scope emulation sessions are secure.

Interface

z/Scope has multihost/multisession emulation capabilities, where you can open multiple emulation sessions simultaneously and switch them quickly and easily through tabs or view up to 4 sessions together in tiled view.

With z/Scope users and system administrators alike have at their fingertips the most powerful, secure and easy to use terminal emulator for Microsoft Windows available today. Security:

With z/Scope Secure Tunnel you don’t need to expose the telnet ports to the Internet; Mainframe critical information is thus protected.

Only standard http/s ports need to be opened in the firewall.

There is no need to add permissions for another protocol to the firewall, only standard http/s that are already in place.

By default, all communications are encrypted, even when not using https.

SSL/TLS can be enabled to provide additional 128/256-bit SSL encryption. z/Scope Secure Tunnel also includes an SSL certificate generator.
