Actipro SyntaxEditor for WPF brings a powerful Visual Studio-like code editing experience to your own applications. It includes all of the advanced features found in popular code editors. Syntax languages for most popular languages are available, or custom build your own to handle any proprietary language.

Sample languagesWhile many sample languages are available to get you started (such as C#, VB, XML, and more), custom language definitions can be developed and distributed with your applications as well.
Advanced Editing CapabilitiesSyntaxEditor has a number of display features you find in the Visual Studio code editor such as line numbers, visible whitespace, word wrap, line modification marks, split views, mouse wheel zooming, and more.
Unicode and Bi-Directional Editing SupportSyntaxEditor supports the editing of any Unicode characters and even has full support for working with embedded bi-directional text.
Line CommentingLanguages can each be assigned a line commenter that is capable of adding and removing comments. Algoritms for both line-based comments and range comments are supported. Custom algorithms can be developed as well.
