Accusoft has incorporated the standalone PDF Viewer into its more comprehensive PrizmDoc Viewer platform. Since April 2022, the two products share a unified viewing API, enabling PDF rendering, annotation, and more within PrizmDoc Viewer. As a result, the standalone PDF Viewer is no longer sold separately.

Barcode Xpress ActiveX was a barcode recognition component designed for integration into Windows applications using ActiveX technology. It supported reading and writing over 30 barcode types, including 1D formats like Code 128 and 2D formats such as PDF417 and QR Code. Barcode Xpress ActiveX provided capabilities for batch barcode processing, image cleanup, and noise reduction to improve detection accuracy. It was commonly used in document management, forms processing, and inventory systems.

Barcode Xpress is still available for other platforms such as .NET, .NET Core and Java.

Barcode Xpress Mobile was a software development kit (SDK) designed for integrating barcode recognition into mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms. It supported reading over 30 barcode types, including 1D formats like Code 39 and 2D formats such as QR Code and PDF417. The SDK provided features for real-time barcode detection using device cameras, as well as options for processing static images. It was utilized in various industries, including healthcare, logistics, and retail, to facilitate tasks like inventory management and patient identification.

Barcode Xpress is still available for other platforms such as .NET, .NET Core and Java.

Barcode Xpress Professional + 2D Write by Accusoft is no longer available as a standalone product. It has been replaced by Barcode Xpress .NET, which now includes all the capabilities previously offered in the combined package. This update consolidates 1D and 2D barcode reading and writing into a single .NET development toolkit, simplifying deployment and licensing for developers.

CapturePRO was a set of managed .NET, COM, and VCL components designed for image and video acquisition from video capture devices. It supported interfaces including USB, FireWire, Windows Driver Model (WDM), and native DirectShow, as well as legacy Video for Windows devices. The toolkit included CapturePRO and TwainPRO components, enabling developers to integrate capture functionality into Windows applications.

While Accusoft no longer offers CapturePRO, it continues to provide other imaging and document processing SDKs such as ImageGear and PrizmDoc.

FormFix Professional ActiveX was a component for Windows developers focused on optical character recognition (OCR), form recognition, and image processing. It enabled automated form identification and alignment, drop-out form removal, and field extraction within structured documents. Designed for integration into custom Windows applications, it supported ActiveX development environments and worked alongside other Accusoft tools such as SmartZone for OCR and ScanFix Xpress for image cleanup.

FormFix Standard .NET by Accusoft is no longer available as a standalone product. It has been replaced by FormFix Professional .NET, an advanced software development toolkit designed for .NET developers to build robust forms processing applications. It provides powerful capabilities for form recognition, image registration, form dropout (removal of form template lines), and OMR (Optical Mark Recognition), enabling automated extraction and alignment of scanned documents against predefined templates. The toolkit supports high-speed processing for large volumes of structured forms, making it ideal for industries such as healthcare, finance, and government where accurate and efficient data capture is critical.

FormFix Standard ActiveX was a software development toolkit designed for form processing applications. It enabled developers to incorporate optical mark recognition (OMR), form dropout, image alignment, and form identification into their Windows applications using the ActiveX control. The toolkit supported the creation of applications that could detect and align scanned forms, identify templates, and extract data from filled-in checkboxes or other OMR fields. It was commonly used in environments requiring automated data capture from structured documents such as surveys, tests, or registration forms.

FormSuite ActiveX was a software development kit (SDK) designed for building forms processing applications within Microsoft Windows environments. It enabled developers to incorporate automated form recognition, Optical Mark Recognition (OMR), Optical Character Recognition (OCR), and Intelligent Character Recognition (ICR) into custom solutions. Built on ActiveX technology, it was used primarily in Visual Basic and C++ applications. FormSuite ActiveX included tools for image cleanup, form alignment, and data extraction from structured documents such as surveys and applications.

You may want to consider FormSuite for Structured Forms (FormsSuite .NET) instead.

FormSuite for Invoices was a document processing toolkit tailored for extracting data from invoices. It combined OCR (Optical Character Recognition), ICR (Intelligent Character Recognition), and form recognition technologies to automate data capture from structured and semi-structured invoice documents. Accusoft's SmartZone ICR Professional has been discontinued and is no longer available as a standalone product. It has been integrated into the unified SmartZone ICR/OCR SDK, which combines both intelligent character recognition (ICR) and optical character recognition (OCR) functionalities. This consolidation streamlines the development process by providing a single toolkit for capturing both handwritten and machine-printed text from documents.

Accusoft's SmartZone ICR Standard is no longer sold separately. Its features have been merged into the comprehensive SmartZone ICR/OCR SDK, offering developers a unified solution for extracting handwritten and printed text from forms and documents.

Accusoft's SmartZone OCR Professional has been phased out and is now part of the integrated SmartZone ICR/OCR SDK. This combined toolkit enables developers to handle both OCR and ICR tasks within a single API, simplifying application development and maintenance.

Accusoft's SmartZone OCR Standard has been superseded by the SmartZone ICR/OCR SDK. This unified product encompasses the capabilities of the former OCR Standard edition, along with additional features for intelligent character recognition, providing a more versatile text extraction solution.
