Change Vision Notifications

The Astah Engineering Pack by Change Vision was discontinued as a bundled offering on March 31, 2024. This pack previously combined Astah Professional, Astah SysML, and Astah System Safety (which includes Astah GSN) into a single license. While the bundle is no longer available, each product remains available for individual purchase. This change allows users to select and license only the specific modeling tools they require for their software or systems engineering projects.

Sales of Astah GSN, the standalone Goal Structuring Notation (GSN) modeling tool by Change Vision, were discontinued on March 31, 2024. Its functionality has been fully integrated into Astah System Safety, which now serves as the comprehensive solution for safety-critical systems modeling. Astah System Safety supports GSN/D-Case, Systems Modeling Language (SysML), System-Theoretic Accident Model and Processes/System-Theoretic Process Analysis (STAMP/STPA), and Safety Concept Description Language (SCDL), providing enhanced capabilities for safety case development and system architecture analysis.

JUDE/Professional, the comprehensive UML (Unified Modeling Language) modeling tool by Change Vision, was officially renamed to Astah Professional in October 2009. This transition marked the release of version 6.0, which introduced enhancements such as requirement analysis support, traceability mapping, and improved diagram conversion features.

TRICHORD was an Agile project management application developed by Change Vision, Inc. It provided a visual interface for managing software development projects, focusing on three key perspectives: Time, Task, and Team. The tool featured a Kanban board to represent tasks as cards across "To Do," "Doing," and "Done" columns, facilitating intuitive tracking of project progress. Additional functionalities included burndown charts to monitor remaining work and project velocity, as well as a Niko-niko calendar to gauge team morale through daily mood inputs. TRICHORD also supported exporting project data into HTML reports for web-based viewing.
