It facilitated secure remote desktop connections by authorizing and monitoring sessions through Wayk Agent and Wayk Client, providing session audit trails for compliance and security. The solution emphasized a zero-trust security model, eliminating the need for VPNs or inbound firewall exceptions. Support for Wayk Bastion concluded at the end of 2021, and users are encouraged to consider alternative solutions for remote access management such as Devolutions Gateway which is part of Devolutions Server.
