As of version 14 the Enterprise Architect Business and Software Engineering Edition is no longer offered as a separate product. Its capabilities are now included in Enterprise Architect. This includes tools for business modeling, software design, and code engineering, now accessible directly within the main Enterprise Architect platform for a unified modeling experience.

From version 14 the Enterprise Architect Desktop Edition has been retired. Free upgrades were given to the Enterprise Architect Professional Edition for customers who had a valid subscription for the desktop edition. The functionality was consolidated to ensure that core modeling and design capabilities previously found in the Desktop Edition are fully integrated into the main Enterprise Architect offering.

As of version 14 the Enterprise Architect Systems Engineering Edition is no longer sold separately. Its functionality is now incorporated into Enterprise Architect. This includes support for systems modeling, SysML (Systems Modeling Language), and simulation tools, now unified within the broader Enterprise Architect platform.

As of version 14 the MDG BPSim Execution Engine is no longer available as a standalone product. It is now included within Enterprise Architect which provides direct support for Business Process Simulation (BPSim), enabling simulation and analysis of BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) models as part of the core Enterprise Architect environment.

Starting with version 3.0 (released May 8, 2020), MDG Link for DOORS is free and no longer requires a separate license key. It is included with Enterprise Architect Professional, Corporate, Unified, or Ultimate editions. For MDG Link for Visual Studio .NET and MDG Link for Eclipse, these were originally separate paid add-ons. However, as of Enterprise Architect version 12 (released mid‑2016), their functionality is now built-in and included with all editions.
