Funktionen
  • Added the ability to select the aspect ratio to record to.
  • Added the ability to apply 'Cursor smoothing' to a clip, and the mouse moves in smooth curves between clicks.
  • Improved setting the opacity in the color picker popup and the opacity is now more clearly shown in the color selector.

  • Enables use of Flashback Express on Windows FIPS mode.
  • Recording primary display and circular webcam shape could not be used at the same time.
  • Default selection of alternative Intel hardware encoder, since the previous default could cause memory usage problems on some PCs.
  • Adding textboxes of the same type consecutively could result in them being automatically grouped.
  • In exports, the image quality during a zoompan could be significantly reduced.
  • If the Windows Magnifier application was running during recording, then the mouse position was not recorded.

  • Adding support to the Editor for new mpeg4 codec had introduced the possibility of a crash.
  • Imports of projects from Flashback Pro 5 were failing.
  • Subtitle generation process could fail.

  • Transparent background for webcam video - removes the background to let you float above the recording.
  • Automatic cursor smoothing - removes smaller movements and 'jiggles'.

  • The image in the zoompan preview display could be incorrect. A crash could be caused by editing a zoompan.
  • Player now rewinds to the start of a project when playback is started at the end.

  • Added the option in Recorder to turn off use of hardware acceleration during recording.

  • Restarting a recording resulted in a crash.
  • Scheduled Recordings dialog shows the 'no recordings' message even when schedules have been added.
  • Users were seeing errors and crashes in the editor and occasionally the Recorder, caused by a the GPU timeout issue.
  • Crash on removing a secondary monitor.
  • Some Transitions could show a thin border separating the two video clips being transitioned.
  • Improved handling of import of longer Flashback Pro 5 projects - in some situations the user could not see a progress indicator and could cause errors by trying to import two projects at once.

  • In-movie objects can now be permanently grouped by shift-clicking them and selecting 'Group selection'.
  • Added a Freeze frame feature - Stop the action by right clicking a video clip and selecting 'Freeze frame'.
  • Added more blur types, added an oval shape and 'pixelate' style.
  • You can now turn off smooth easing in Zoom+Pan effects. Good for long, slow pans.
  • Added 'Instant' Zoom+Pan effects - Just set the Duration slider to zero.
  • Added an 's' hotkey to the Editor for the 'Split' function.
  • Added more webcam backgrounds.

  • Editor hotkeys were being activated with Right-Alt as well as Ctrl, which caused problems for Polish users.
  • Incorrect corner rounding in exports.
  • Occasional crash on changing clip playback speed.
  • Description in YouTube upload did not allow multi-line text.
  • Incorrect save path when the current user had no access to MyVideos and MyDocuments folders.
  • Many other smaller fixes and improvements.

Funktionen
  • Online sharing to YouTube and Google Drive has been added to the export options.
  • New 'What's New' popup has been added for first run after updating to highlight new features.
  • You can now switch between video projects or start a new one from within the editor without having to return to the Videos window each time.
  • Re-arranged some of the items in the Help tab of the Settings to be split out into their own tabs (Privacy and About).
  • Removed the webcam preview from the Audio & Webcam tab of the Settings.
  • Added tooltips to the Player window to explain how to trim the saved clip.

  • Valid license key could be rejected when running offline.
  • Could not add extra subtitles lines to some projects that had had their duration increased.
  • Sound could be missing from imported FBR files that included WAV encoded audio.
