Funciones
  • The functionality to transmit an Object Identifier (OID) of '0' has been implemented to ensure compatibility with non-compliant vendors that necessitate this specific message during initialization procedures.
  • For performance optimization, the User object now includes concurrent dictionaries, LocalAuthenticationKeys and LocalPrivacyKeys, to cache authentication and privacy keys by Engine ID. These dictionaries are accessible to end users, enabling efficient storage and retrieval of local keys as necessary.
  • The GenerateLocalPrivacyKey and GenerateLocalAuthenticationKey methods have been made publicly available to enable users to generate local keys without relying on SNMPv3 discovery.
  • Privacy and authentication passwords are now stored internally as byte arrays.
  • A new property, RetainPasswords, has been introduced to the User object to provide an option for clearing the underlying password bytes once local keys have been established, thereby enhancing security. Setting this property to false will disable the use of SNMPv3 discovery to generate local keys, as passwords will no longer be available.
  • All default settings for the new features ensure that the component continues to operate as it always has.
  • The .NET 4.4. dll has been deprecated and replaced with a .NET 4.8 dll.
  • The .NET 6.0 dll has been deprecated and replaced with a .NET 10 dll.
