One software license is required per instance per year.

How many licenses do you need:

• One license per instance.
• If multiple instances on a single server, you still need one license per instance.
• You need a license per node in a cluster or High Availability Group.
• For Oracle you will need a license per container as well as per pluggable database.

License Terms

• Subscription term is 12 months.
• Includes Right-to-Use (RTU) software license.
• Includes support via email.
• Includes maintenance and updates.
• Unlimited number of users.

Licensing Examples:

Customer A has 5 SQL Server database instances, 2 need the SQL Performance Package.
License requirements:

• 5x dbWatch Control Center 1 Year License for MS SQL Server.
• 2x Performance Package 1 Year license for MS SQL Server.

Customer B has 10 SQL Server, 5 PostgreSQL, and 1 MariaDB database instances.
License requirements:

• 10x dbWatch Control Center 1 Year License for MS SQL Server.
• 5x dbWatch Control Center 1 Year License for PostgreSQL.
• 1x dbWatch Control Center 1 Year License for MariaDB.
