  • Enabling the "Ignore index-related primary key construction differences" option no longer changes how a primary or unique key is represented when its backing index simply shares the constraint's name. Previously the option promoted that index to a standalone object, which reported an index that had no file in the scripts folder, showed a USING INDEX clause the scripts folder did not contain, and queued up a change for every affected table as soon as the option was turned on.

  • Introduced new IncludeOnlineIndexCreation option in the UI and CLI to add 'ONLINE' clause to index creation scripts.
  • Cross-schema object permissions are now recorded only against the object's owner instead of against both the owner and the grantee. This stops the same grant being duplicated across two schemas (a common cause of drift when each schema is in its own project) and prevents deployment scripts from generating grants that the connected user cannot execute. Where the owner schema is outside the comparison, a grant that an in-scope object genuinely depends on is still kept so that object can deploy - a REFERENCES grant backing a foreign key, or a grant on an out-of-scope table or type used by an in-scope view, package or column. Grants on objects no schema owns (directories, editions and users) are unaffected and remain recorded against the grantee.
Corrections
  • Text objects with lines longer than 2499 characters can now be deployed correctly.

  • Improved the error message shown when LOB population fails with 'ORA-65047' because the 'XML_TAB_COLS' data dictionary views are invalid (for example on Oracle 'lite' images where the XDB component is not fully installed).
