Use ComponentSource Search to find software components, developer tools, applications, add-ins, and other products available from our marketplace.
Enter one or more words in the search box and you will instantly see results as you type. You can either select a relevant result directly from the instant search panel or press Enter to see a full page of results, which you can then optionally filter. You can search using:
Search results are ranked by relevance, with the closest matches shown first.
Use specific terms that describe what you need. For example, winforms chart is likely to produce more useful results than a broad search such as component. You can combine a product function with a platform or technology:
Software products may use different terms to describe similar functionality. Trying an alternative word can help you find additional relevant products. For example:
You can search directly for a publisher, product family or individual product, e.g: DevExpress, Telerik DevCraft, Aspose.PDF, IPWorks, ComponentOne. Names containing punctuation or symbols, such as .NET, /n software and IPWorks! can be entered as they normally appear.
Enter a ComponentSource part number to find the corresponding product or license option, e.g: CS-514291-1512092.
Search is not case-sensitive, so devexpress, DevExpress and DEVEXPRESS can return the same relevant matches. Using the familiar capitalization of technology and product names can still make your search easier to read, particularly for names such as WinForms, JavaScript and ASP.NET.
Use the filters on the search results page to narrow the results without having to enter a new search.
Available filters may include:
Narrow the results by the function the product performs, such as:
Show products from a particular publisher brand, e.g: DevExpress, MESCIUS, Telerik, Infragistics or Aspose.
Limit results to a particular type of software, such as:
Once you have selected a Product Type you will have access to more filters. For example if you select Product Type: Component you will then be able to filter by Component Type. If you choose Component Type: .NET, you will then be able to filter by .NET Platform and .NET Version, etc.
The number shown beside a filter indicates how many current results match that option. Available filters and counts may change as you refine the search.
Search results are initially ordered by Relevance. You can also sort them by:
Relevance sorting is normally the best option when searching for a specific product, technology or function.
When looking for a particular product, enter its complete name or the most distinctive part of it. For example:
Quotation marks and other advanced search operators are not normally required. Our search engine analyzes the words you enter and ranks results according to how closely they match.
You do not need to know the exact product name to explore the ComponentSource catalog. You can browse by:
Browsing is useful when you want to compare available products, discover alternative publishers or explore tools for a particular development platform.
As you type, the instant search may show relevant products, brands, categories, and platforms, as well as popular searches. Click on a result to go directly to the relevant page or hit Enter to view more matching results. Suggestions become more specific as you enter additional characters. You can also use the keyboard down arrow key to select an item, and Enter to select it.
If a search does not return the expected results:
For example, instead of searching for enterprise JavaScript spreadsheet editing component, try JavaScript spreadsheet and then refine the results using the available filters.
