Remote Desktop Manager 2026.2 adds the ability to prompt for multi-factor authentication (MFA) when a Privileged Access Management (PAM) checkout is requested, requiring users to verify their identity when privileged credentials are requested rather than only during the initial sign-in. This introduces an additional security check immediately before privileged access is granted, helping to reduce the risk of unauthorized use of privileged accounts while supporting established PAM workflows. Available across Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile platforms, the feature supports time-based one-time passwords (TOTP), email, and SMS verification, giving development and IT teams a consistent way to strengthen privileged access controls across different environments.
