DevExpress Reporting is a comprehensive suite of reporting tools that empowers developers to create visually stunning and highly customizable reports for various applications. With its rich feature set, including data binding, layout design, printing, and exporting capabilities, DevExpress Reporting enables the efficient creation of reports that meet the most demanding business requirements.
The DevExpress Reporting 26.1 update introduces AI Agent Skills for Reports, giving AI coding assistants built-in knowledge of DevExpress Reports features. This helps reduce the use of outdated APIs and incorrect code generation by providing accurate, scenario-specific guidance. The skills cover runtime report creation, Visual Studio and JetBrains Rider Report Designer code generation, ASP.NET Core integration, and Blazor integration, including data binding, report designers, data sources, exporting, service configuration, and customization. Built on the Agent Skills standard, the skills work with Claude Code, GitHub Copilot in Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code and JetBrains Rider, as well as Cursor, helping developers generate reporting code that follows current DevExpress guidance.
