Signotaur is a robust and secure code-signing solution from VSoft Technologies designed to streamline the process of digitally signing software. The Signotaur 2.1.0.278 update adds support for ETSI compliant electronic signatures, enabling developers to sign XML, PDF, code, and other file types using XAdES, PAdES, and CAdES formats. It introduces configurable signature levels, including long term and archival options that embed certificate chains and revocation data to help maintain signature validity after certificates expire. The update also supports visible signatures for PDFs, signing of encrypted PDF documents, and unified verification across all supported signature formats, simplifying secure document signing workflows.
