Run Database Workflows Natively on Apple Silicon

Aqua Data Studio (ADS) v26.1 adds native Apple silicon support, letting developers run database workflows on ARM64 Macs without Rosetta.

Run Database Workflows Natively on Apple Silicon

Aqua Data Studio (ADS) by AquaFold is a database integrated development environment for developers, database administrators and analysts. It combines SQL development, database administration, data visualization and schema modeling, providing a single interface for working with relational, NoSQL and cloud databases.

Aqua Data Studio (ADS) v26.1 introduces native support for Macs powered by Apple silicon, including the M5 family of processors. The new ARM64 build includes an ARM64 Java runtime and ARM-compatible native libraries, eliminating the need for Rosetta translation. Developers and database administrators can now run their database development, querying and analysis workflows natively on supported Apple silicon hardware.
