Secure PDF by /n software is a development library for adding PDF signing, verification, encryption, and document editing to custom applications. Its components support advanced PAdES signatures, long-term validation, fillable forms, and integration with existing Public Key Infrastructure environments.

Secure PDF enables developers to create ZUGFeRD/Factur-X electronic invoices that combine a human-readable PDF/A-3 document with embedded, machine-readable XML invoice data. This hybrid format allows the same file to support manual review and automated invoice processing. The PDFEdit component provides programmatic control over invoice attachments and metadata, helping developers integrate hybrid invoice generation into existing applications.
