Timed Subscription Licensing
One software license is required per user, per machine.
For example if you have 2 users each with 2 machines you will require 4 AdminStudio Licenses.

The license is timed and will expire after 3 years, any installations created during the 3 year period will continue to function after expiry, but you will not be able to access AdminStudio after expiry.

Timed Subscription Licenses include updates and support for the duration of the license:

• Unlimited telephone support requests
• A Maintenance Plan Card detailing all benefits and plan specifics
• 24 x 7 access to Knowledge Base
• 24 x 7 access to product Web Communities
• Sample Code, Sample Projects, and White Papers
• Technical Webinars / Online Product Demonstrations
• Unlimited Web-based requests using eService

Renewal of Annual Silver Maintenance for Perpetual Licenses include:

On 01-Sep-2021, Revenera/Flexera changed the licensing model of the InstallShield and AdminStudio product lines. All new licenses are now 3 year non-perpetual Timed Subscription licenses. Perpetual licenses are no longer available for purchase. At the end of the Timed Subscription, you have to renew the Subscription to continue to create new/edit existing installation scripts. If you have an existing Perpetual License with Maintenance Plan that was purchased before 1-Sep-2021 AND that Bronze/Silver/Gold Maintenance Plan has not expired, you can renew that active Maintenance Plan for an additional year. If you let that Perpetual License Maintenance Plan expire, you will be required to buy a new Timed Subscription (non-perpetual) license to continue to receive upgrades and support.
