Previous Versions

Sencha does not sell previous versions directly, however purchasing a new license entitles you to download and use any previous version of the same software.

Sencha GXT Licensing

One software license is required per developer (min Qty: 5).
Runtime Royalty Free.
Licenses for Sencha GXT include perpetual development and use rights, with version upgrades under annual Maintenance and Support (1 year included). Support renewal is required for continued support and software updates.

Standard Support Offering:

  • Access to the current documentation for the Software.
  • Read-only access to the most current source code for SourceSoftware.
  • Unlimited 24×7 access to the community-driven Sencha public support forums.
  • Limited incident support.
  • Support contracts provided with member-only support portal access up to the number of licensed users for which support feeds have been paid.
  • A number of x-credits included that can be spent on any metered support Services. The number of x-credits included in Standard Support is 40 x-credits per Supported user in addition to any additional x-credits purchased.
  • Maximum incident response time of 48 hours as details.
  • Eligible to receive emergency hotfix builds as may be provided.
  • Remote trouble-shooting Services available as detailed in Section 2c.

Platinum Support Offering:

    • Access to 2 free training courses - Develop the skills your team needs to design and build great apps.

FAQs

Is the license permanent (perpetual) or temporal (time-limited)?

Sencha GXT is available as a Perpetual License, and is available for 5, 10 or 20 developers. Please contact us for 20+ developer licenses.

What happens after my subscription expires?

Perpetual Licenses can be used indefinitely, although you will need to purchase a Perpetual License Support Renewal in order to access updates and technical support after the first year.

Can I co-term (align) my existing licenses?

Yes - ComponentSource can arrange to co-term your licenses, even if they were not originally purchased through us. Please call us or to discuss your needs.

Can I buy an old product version?

Sencha does not sell previous versions directly, however purchasing a new license entitles you to download and use any previous version of the same software.

Can I install my license on more than one machine?

Sencha GXT can be installed on more than one machine provided that it is being used by the same developer. Each developer requires their own license to use the software.

Can a license be transferred from one developer to another?

Under the Commercial License, each Designated User (a developer or anybody using the Software to design UI) must be licensed. You can move the license to another Designated User once every six months.

Does this product require online / offline activation?

No. Activation is not required.
