Dependent on geographic location, licenses may be available as an Annual (Timed) Subscription License or as a Perpetual License with a 1 Year Support and Update Subscription.
Annual (Timed) Subscription License (Only available in select geographic locations)
Licensed per developer on a yearly subscription basis. You can build and publish unlimited .NET applications using Spread.NET controls during your subscription period. You must renew your Annual Subscription License to continue to use the software.
Published applications are Royalty Free and do not expire, however if you do not renew your subscription license you will no longer be able to develop with the controls. If you need to build and compile new applications, or make updates to existing applications you will need to purchase an Annual Subscription License.

Perpetual License (Only available in select geographic locations)
The developer license is perpetual and does not expire; however, Your right to receive Updates, Upgrades, or technical support may require an active maintenance or support plan. The perpetual license entitles you to build .NET applications using the Spread.NET controls. The applications you build can be distributed royalty-free.
Annual Maintenance for Perpetual Licenses
Dependent on geographic location, licenses may be available as an Annual (Timed) Subscription License or as a Perpetual License with or without a 1 Year Support and Update Maintenance Subscription.
Annual (Timed) Subscription Licenses
If you do not renew your subscription license you will no longer be able to develop with the controls. If you need to build and compile new applications, or make updates to existing applications you will need to purchase an Annual Subscription License.
Perpetual Licenses
If you do not renew your maintenance subscription, you are no longer entitled to updates or support, but you may continue to use the version of the product you received during your active maintenance subscription.

Upgrades may be available dependent on geographic location. The upgrade is for perpetual licenses from previous versions of the same product to upgrade to the latest version.
MESCIUS (formerly GrapeCity) does not offer previous versions for sale directly, but if you purchase a new license for Spread.NET, MESCIUS (formerly GrapeCity) will provide you with the version of the product that you need. Please contact us to request an older version.
Yes. You need a separate license for your build machines.
No. Spread.NET includes royalty-free redistribution. Provided your customers are using Spread.NET as part of your application, they do not need a license. Anyone who has design time access (the ability to code) will need to own a license.
No. Source Code is not available for Spread.NET.
All licensed users have access to the Spread Forums, which have an active customer base and input from the technical support team.
