Text Control Notifications

TX Barcode .NET for Windows Forms has been integrated into TX Text Control .NET for Windows Forms Professional and Enterprise editions. It is no longer available as a standalone product. This integration provides developers with comprehensive barcode generation capabilities directly within the TX Text Control environment, supporting a wide range of 1D and 2D barcode types. Features include dynamic data merging, customizable layout options, and seamless integration into reporting templates. This change was implemented by Text Control in January 2024.

TX Barcode .NET for WPF has been merged into TX Text Control .NET for WPF Standard, Professional, and Enterprise editions as of January 2024. It is no longer sold separately. Barcode creation and rendering capabilities are now included within the full TX Text Control .NET for WPF product range, offering support for 1D and 2D barcode types directly within WPF document-based applications.

TX Text Control ActiveX Server has been integrated into TX Text Control .NET Server for ASP.NET. While TX Text Control ActiveX continues to receive updates and support, new development efforts are focused on the .NET-based platform, which offers enhanced features and broader compatibility with modern development environments. This transition provides developers with a more robust and flexible solution for server-side document processing tasks.

TX Text Control RapidSpell .NET was a spell-checking integration for .NET applications using TX Text Control. It provided dialog-based spell checking for document selections or complete documents, highlighted spelling errors, supported manual corrections, and allowed terms to be added to custom dictionaries. Developers could integrate it into Windows Forms applications using C# or Visual Basic .NET.
