The Data Scientist License (Premium Edition) permits the Licensee to install and use the software during the duration of the Subscription Period only. The subscription includes usage rights and software updates during the subscription period. The License automatically expires at the end of the subscription. Upon expiration, the license terminates and the Licensee's right to install, access, or use the software immediately ceases.

• The Data Science license is subscription based and is designed for use on personal Python projects.
• It includes community support.
• Using the Data Scientist license requires an internet connection. This is because the license status is checked through LightningChart's Customer Portal at runtime. The license key which you can obtain remains the same regardless of whether the status is trial, free, or premium.
• The license key contains information to identify the user. For this reason, the Data Scientist license is intended for personal use and should not be shared with others.
• The license also has one active session at a time.

Software Developer License

• The Software Developer license is a perpetual, per-seat solution meant for building commercial, distributable software applications.
• It includes professional support.
• This perpetual license can be purchased for a single developer, or a team of multiple developers.
• Developer licenses require internet connection for verification.
• After purchasing the license, it comes with dedicated developer and deployment keys, which are accessed through LightningChart's Customer Portal. When licenses are purchased, they are assigned to 1 Portal account (a "Team manager").
• For a team of software developers, everyone who needs to have the charts running/visible as part of their development activities needs their own developer license key, since developer keys have a session limit of one active session at a time.
• The Team manager can access all their developer licenses (1 per purchased seat).
• The Team manager also has access to a button: "Get Deployment Key", which generates a license key to be used when deploying to production.
