Chant Developer Workbench is a comprehensive development and testing environment for working with speech and natural user interface (NUI) technology. It provides a set of essential tools and class libraries for developing software that speaks, listens, and interacts with users.

Microsoft Azure Speech SSML (Speech Synthesis Markup Language) is a powerful tool for customizing the pronunciation of synthesized speech. It allows developers to control the pitch, volume, and speed of speech, as well as the pronunciation of individual words and phrases.

Chant Developer Workbench 2023 (10.0.2.1) adds Microsoft Azure Speech SSML support to VoiceMarkupKit. This gives developers the power to create speech applications that can speak and listen to users in their native languages, regardless of the language of the underlying application code. For example, a developer could create a mobile app that can translate speech from one language to another, and then synthesize the translated speech in the user's native language.
