每台机器都需要一个软件许可证。
(a) 安装。该软件包含称为“Design-time Components”的部分，它们为 Microsoft 的 Web Matrix 提供开发功能。此外，还提供了“Production Server Components”，以便在称为服务器的计算机上启用服务。本许可协议授予您一（1）份名为“Design-time”和“Production Server”组件的软件部分许可证。

(b) Design-time Components 的使用。“Design-time Components”按席位授权。按席位许可证是根据所有安装有任何“Designer Component”的机器数量进行计数的许可证。要使用按席位许可证，每台为开发目的安装、运行和/或使用该软件的机器都必须拥有已授权副本及其相应许可证。对于每台额外安装和运行任何“Design-time Components”的计算机，都需要一个开发席位许可证。“Design-time Components”附带一个标记并许可为“Test/Development Server”的服务器部分，您仅可将“Test/Development Server”软件用于设计、开发和测试您的产品(s)。“Test/Development Server Components”被设计为与“Design-Time Components”配合运行，且不得作为独立组件使用。

(c) Production Server Components 的使用。“Production Server Components”按服务器授权。“Production Server Components”只能在同一台服务器上使用。如果“Production Server Components”用于托管或服务局用途，则还需支付额外许可费用（例如，互联网服务提供商（ISP）在使用不同域名为其客户托管页面时，不得使用“Production Server Components”）。对于每台额外安装和运行任何“Production Server Components”的计算机，都需要一个 Production Server 许可证
