• One software license is required per developer. The developer may install and use the software on a single computer (the main computer you use at work) and is also permitted to install it a second time on a portable computer (your laptop) and to install it a third time on a home computer, provided that the developer is the only or exclusive user of the software product. Please see the  Licensing Examples below.
• Run-time deployment of the add-ins created using this product are royalty free. All Add-in Express products are run-time deployment royalty free.

Licensing Examples

• Example 1: A single developer using the software may install it at work on his/her desktop, on his/her laptop and on his/her home computer and only needs to buy one (1) single license, provided that they are the only user of the software product.
• Example 2: A team of 3 developers wish to use the software on 3 computers. The 3 developers need to buy three (3) separate licenses for the software product.
• Example 3: A team of 3 developers wish to use the software on 3 computers and also create builds on a separate build server machine. The 3 developers need to buy three (3) separate licenses for the software product. However, if no development is performed on the build machine and its sole purpose is to generate actual builds of your software, then you do not need to purchase a separate license for the build server machine. If however a developer uses the build server machine for development and this developer does not have a current or valid license to the software product, then you must buy an additional license for the software product.

The Premium Edition includes:

• Developer license - When your subscription expires, you can continue using the last version you obtained or are eligible to use.
• All Add-in Express products are royalty free.
• 12 months Subscription to updates - Whether a minor update is published with a couple of bug fixes and improvements or a large-scale update that adds support for the new Office version, you get all the updates for free.
• 12 months Subscription to technical support - Help with questions regarding the functionality of the products, programming issues, explanations of error messages, deployment, debugging and questions related to host application objects models
• Run-time and design-time source code - With the run-time source code you get the full reference that gives you the most complete picture of Office extensibility and a wealth of tips & tricks implemented in Add-in Express. If you have run-time and design-time source code you can completely rebuild our run-time assemblies and design-time tools.
• 12 months Participation in beta programs - Normally, every major release is preceded by 2 or 3 betas. Due to your participation in the beta testing program, you can ensure the compatibility of your project with upcoming releases of Microsoft Office, Visual Studio or Windows, as well as suggest that we add some special features for your projects.
• 12 months Subscription to premium support service - Support requests from customers with Premium subscriptions always take priority on forums or in e-mail. Help with questions regarding the functionality of our products, programming issues, explanations of error messages, deployment, debugging and questions related to host application objects models. Besides that, you get screencasts, code samples, features and bug-fixes that may be created especially for you.
• 12 months Escalation of your issues to core developers - This service allows you to directly communicate with the developers of the product that you purchased. After you send an escalation request, our developers start looking into your issue as soon as they can.
• 12 months Code reviewing - 2-3 times a year Add-in Express can review your code for the correct usage of Office object models. You are free to send your code with business logic removed. The result of code review is comments pointing to problems and suggesting solutions.
• 12 months Wide-ranging solution research service - This service includes research on the possibility and ways of realization of the required functionality, creating small sample projects that illustrate the key points of the solution: UI, use of events, properties and methods of the Office object model; interaction of several extensions in one project, etc.
