Altova 伺服器產品的授權方式為按年、按伺服器，並依機器上可用的核心數量。您必須為每一部伺服器取得獨立的授權金鑰代碼。所授權的核心數量必須大於或等於伺服器上可用的核心數量，不論是實體機器或虛擬機器。例如，如果伺服器有 8 個核心，您必須至少購買 8 核心授權。
如果您使用的是具有大量 CPU 核心的電腦伺服器，但只需要處理少量資料，您也可以建立一部配置較少核心數量的虛擬機器，然後購買該核心數量的授權。當然，這種部署的處理速度會比伺服器上所有可用核心都被使用時來得慢。
在核心配置方面，Altova 伺服器產品不會將超執行緒核心視為兩個獨立核心。只會計算實體機器中的實際核心數量，或指派給 VM 的虛擬核心數量。
