ContourCube crash in CCubeX30.ocx jpeeters [Belgium] 16-Apr-2009 10:31:39

We integrated the contourcube activex component 3.0.3 in our C++ application but are encountering the following problem:
- Apparently when I open an administrator session on server itself (desktop that is being used as a server in test) I can open countour cubes without crashes.
- When I open a non-administrator session on the server itself, I can open countour cubes without crashes.
- When I open an administrator or non-administrator session on a thin client, i don't get crashes.

BUT:
- When I open an administrator or a non-administrator session through remote desktop from a thick client on this sever, the countour cubes crashes on this remote desktop session.
- When I leave this session open and try it again from an already open administrator session on the server itself, it also crashes on the server.
- When I close the administrator session on the server and all other sessions, except the session from the remote desktop connection on the thick client, it still crashes, even after closing and reopening the session on that thick client.

What happens is that such remote access clients map local client PC resources to the server machine, and, apparently, you do it in different way. The most obvious thing is that RDC handles the printer port in a way that causes CC to crash. Not sure though. Can give more detail on what client resources are mapped to the server machine, if any?
