This product met my needs perfectly - a replacement for the Microsoft tab that could do something as simple as change colors.

I could quickly and intuitively set colors on the tabs, set the text, add new tabs, etc. It has simple events to track the changing and selected tabs.

I was previously using a different product and whilst the control had a number of nice features, the licensing scheme was *Absolutely Ridiculous*. It required activation per computer, the control contacts the publishers website each time you run the designer and worst of all the compiled product would also contact their website each time an end user ran my application!!

I did also evaluate another component. While it was promising, it basically chokes you with properties, and setting the most simple properties such as tab color and text were buried deep in layer upon layer of property navigation.

So if you are looking for a simple, easy replacement for the built in tab control, with EASY and GENEROUS licensing (per developer instead of per machine), this is a GREAT CONTROL!
