Altova European Single Electronic Format (ESEF) XBRL add-in for Excel was an extension for Microsoft Excel that enabled the creation and validation of Inline eXtensible Business Reporting Language (iXBRL) financial reports for European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) ESEF compliance. The add-in integrated XBRL tagging and taxonomy support directly into Excel workflows, allowing finance and reporting teams to prepare regulatory filings using familiar spreadsheet tools. It supported validation against ESEF rules and generation of compliant iXBRL output for annual financial reporting requirements.

Altova Work in Process (WIP) XBRL add-in for Excel was an extension for Microsoft Excel that enabled finance and IT teams to create, edit, and validate eXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) documents directly within spreadsheet environments. It provided tools for mapping spreadsheet data to XBRL taxonomies, managing contexts and units, and generating instance documents compliant with regulatory filing requirements.
