Funktionen

Improvement in PDF Writer when writing StructParents of appended PDF files.
Now understands relative width for XRef compressed streams and other improvements with compressed XRefs.
Now handles 'decodeparam' as an array of Dictionaries.
The closing <?xpacket end?> is now optional.
Improvement to Predictor decoding.
New text extraction has to be enabled with SetGlobalVar( 'NewTextExport=1') to avoid compatibility issues with existing code.
Use SetGlobalVar( ExtractSmallTextRaster=1') to enable a text extraction mode which is optimized to create ANSCII representation of pages with different font sizes using a fixed monospaced font.
Improvement in the code which writes radio checkboxes in PDF forms.
Now writes PDF versions >1.4.

Korrekturen

Fix for PDF page without embedded font which has been printed directly using GDI. Under some circumstances the text was printed in white.
Fix for TTF fonts which have empty cmap table.
Fix for wrong glyph selection for rare fonts.
Fix when reading compressed XRef with illegal data.
Fix in Resource manager for resources with case sensitive duplicated names, also handling ca and CA better.

WPViewPDF v6.01.0.025. Juli 2026

Funktionen

Integrated WPCubed's original JPEG2000 decoder as well as an equally sophisticated JBIG2 decoder.
Added new font engines for both TTF and PostScript fonts.
The TTF font engine is already used in wPDF V6, where it enables significantly more compact font subsetting than the standard Windows methods.
With these additions, WPViewPDF no longer relies on external DLLs, only the WPViewPDF 6 DLL is required. This makes the whole product safer and programs using it significantly easier to deploy.
