GREAT CHARTING TOOL FOR SHAREPOINT The standard chart in SharePoint 2010 was unusable when I had to implement some specific charting requirements. While searching for alternative I found the Nevron Chart webpart. The technical team was very helpful and I was able to achieve exactly what I needed. All charts have been reworked to use this web part and I am very pleased with the results. They also have support for SharePoint 2013 so I am confident that once we move from 2010 to 2013 the migration will not be an issue. Pros: - Provides support for SharePoint 2007, 2010 and the latest 2013 release - Includes fill set of charting types and provides great flexibility - The pivot capabilities makes this chart webpart a true and professional reporting tool - Easy to design all visual aspects of the charts - Save/load templates to quickly reuse chart configurations - Support for parameters - Connection to various datasources - Support for custom C# or VB.NET code - Comes with many examples that assist with the learning curve Cons: - There is some learning curve - The designer includes too many options - Using custom code required development experience
