Released: Sep 24, 2024

Aggiornamenti in 10.0

Funzionalità

  • Support for mobile scanners - Adding to longtime support for scanning barcodes and QR codes with a device camera, MobileTogether now includes support for storing and processing codes from handheld scanners. MobileTogether also lets developers simulate the use of barcode scanners using sample data during app testing. Support has been added for the most popular handheld scanners: Zebra, Zebra Mobile Computer and Datalogic Mobile Computer.
  • HTML label control - When you use a regular Label control during app design, the styles that you assign in the Styles & Properties pane are applied to the entire label. However, sometimes it is useful to apply varying styles to the text within a label. Using the new HTML Label control, you can do just that using standard HTML code. When the text is displayed on a client device, it is rendered with the defined formatting.
  • Styles Inspector in simulator - When simulating an app in MobileTogether Designer, a new Styles Inspector shows detailed information about the computed styles of the controls on the current page. This is a huge help when an app includes many controls. Developers can immediately understand why a control is shown in a particular scenario and why it is rendered with the current styles.
  • Ability to find unused localization strings - MobileTogether supports the ability to localize apps in multiple languages. As a localized app evolves over time, some localized strings may no longer be used. Now, it is possible to find these inactive strings and remove them.
  • Support for grid view of available apps on web browsers - When an organization runs multiple MobileTogether apps on their MobileTogether Server, they're shown in a user-friendly grid on iOS, Android, and Windows client apps. Previously, web browsers displayed the apps in a list. Now, users accessing the server through a web browser can also enjoy the grid view, where each app's name and icon is clearly displayed for quick, easy access.
  • Additional information about apps on MobileTogether Server - Server administrators can now see additional information for each app, including the dates when it was last deployed and last accessed.
  • Support for control variables - When adding controls to a design, the developer can now define control variables. Control variables are defined for individual controls and are evaluated when the control is created. Control variables provide more flexibility to set values according to the context of a specific control.
  • Database support has been updated to include the latest version of several databases, including:
    • SQLite 3.45
    • MariaDB 11.2
    • MySQL 8.2, 8.3
    • PostgreSQL 16
