AI Integration

• AI Assistant Chatbot - An organization owner or admin can connect Oxygen Feedback to an existing OpenAI account to open up the possibility of activating a chatbot component in the Oxygen WebHelp Responsive output where Oxygen Feedback is installed, allowing your users to chat with the AI Assistant to help find answers to questions and reference information more quickly, based on the information from the publication.
  • When the functionality is enabled, a floating AI Assistant button is displayed in the lower-right corner of the WebHelp page. Clicking the button directs the users to the chat page where they can interact with the AI.
• AI-Enhanced Search Summary - If Oxygen Feedback is connected to an existing OpenAI account, an organization owner or admin can also enable the new AI-enhanced Search Summary feature that displays an AI-generated response before the usual search results when a user enters a search query in the WebHelp output. The response is generated using the AI Assistant based upon information found in your publication.
  • This functionality can be enabled using a new option (Enable AI-enhanced search summary) that is found in the Version settings page (within the WebHelp Responsive Context Indexing and Search section). You also have the option to engage in further discussion with the AI after receiving its response. You can refine the results or modify the search query by selecting the Continue in chat button that is displayed below the search results.
• AI Metrics Added to Statistics Pages - New AI Assistant metrics have been added in the organization and site usage statistics pages. You can select between page views, comments, AI Assistant Sessions, AI Assistant Users, or AI Assistant Threads when choosing the metric to display in the statistics chart. The Site Dashboard page now also presents summarized information about AI Assistant sessions, users, and threads.
• Versions Widget Displays a Quick Overview of the AI Features Status - The Versions widget that is available in the Site Dashboard page now displays the enabled/disabled status of the AI Assistant and AI Search Summary features for each version of the current site.
• Choose OpenAI Model - An organization owner or admin can now configure the AI Assistant to be connected to their preferred OpenAI account (in the OpenAI Connection section of the Organization Profile page), along with the possibility to choose the OpenAI model that will be used by the AI Assistant.

• Security Improvements - This version includes important security fixes, enhancements, and updates to third-party components. Updating to this version is recommended.

Component Updates

• The Lucene library used for search-related functionality has been updated to version 9.11.1.
• The PostgreSQL library has been updated to version 42.5.5.
• The Spring Security library has been updated to version 5.7.12.
