IPWorks VoIP delivers a suite of SIP and IVR components designed to embed VoIP telephony functions within CTI applications. It supports making and receiving calls with standard softphone features, secure SIP signaling, RTP encryption, conferencing capabilities, and custom IVR menu routing. These robust components are cross-platform and simplify implementation of telephony services, including automated notifications and customer self-service.

SIP Registration and Activation

Register with any SIP server or provider by specifying server address, port, username, and password. The component handles SIP registration lifecycle and refreshes intervals to maintain active connectivity.

Softphone Call Management

Supports essential telephony operations such as placing, answering, holding, hanging up, and transferring calls with both blind and attended transfer options.

Secure Communications

Enables secure SIP signaling via TLS (SIPS) and protects audio streams with SRTP modes (SDES or DTLS-SRTP).

Audio Device Handling

Lists and selects available system microphones and speakers to optimize call audio input and output. Users can mute or unmute devices per call.

Audio Playback and Text-to-Speech

Streams audio to active calls from WAV files, raw byte data, or dynamically converts text to speech, allowing playback during calls with event notification on completion.

Call Recording

Records incoming and outgoing audio to WAV files or internally with access to raw audio data. Recording concludes on call hang-up or on explicit stop commands.

Interactive Voice Response (IVR) Menus

Design custom IVR menus for routing incoming calls to pre-recorded messages or other destinations, enhancing automation and self-service capabilities.

Conference Calling

Create and manage conference calls by adding or removing participants, listing active conferences, and controlling conference member operations.

Event-Driven Architecture

Provides comprehensive events for call states, incoming/outgoing calls, audio playback, recording, and security status, facilitating responsive application behavior.
